Hi there! My name is Marley and I am the mind, the heart, and the hands behind Going to Town.

Each and every piece I create is truly a piece of me - inspired by the things that make my world go 'round.

I grew up in a small village in Oro-Medonte, called Shanty Bay, where a trip to the grocery store, the mall, or anywhere else that offered whatever the Village Milk corner store could not, meant "going to town." As I've grown up and moved to and lived in bigger places, I've never been able to kick the habit of saying "I'm going to town."

There are a lot of things that make me, me... but I'm not sure if anything rings quite as true as "You can take the girl out of the small town, but you can't take the small town out of the girl."

That being said, art has always been something else that grounds me, a safe place to go. And now I'd like to share my art with you.
